The penultimate match of last night’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event saw Jay White successfully defend his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Adam Cole, Adam Page, and Kazuchika Okada, although the match unfortunately came to an abrupt ending following an injury suffered by Cole.
Bryan Alvarez took to twitter shortly after the show’s climax to comment on the injury suffered by Cole, noting he is believed to have suffered a concussion.
