A long-time AEW name’s focus has seemingly shifted in recent months.

Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling in 2019, one of the key names behind the scenes has been the company’s Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh. Parekh was notably said to have been at the scene of the infamous ‘Brawl Out’ incident, although it now appears as though her primary focus is no longer on the wrestling promotion.

Fightful Select are now reporting that Parkh has largely stepped back from her role with AEW, with Chris Peck reportedly having taken over the majority of her responses.

“Fightful has learned that AEW Chief Legal Officer has largely stepped back from her AEW duties over the last few months. While we haven’t learned if there’s been an official job title change or adjustment there, Chris Peck has largely taken over many of the things Parekh was doing in the company. We have no insight as to whether or not Parekh will resume or accelerate AEW related duties.”

Per the report, the word within the company is that Parekh was being shifted to focus things related to a stadium deal for the Jacksonville Jaguars, with a reduced focus on AEW for the time being.

Additionally, Fightful noted that it was stressed that Megha wasn’t actually present in London, England, for AEW All In this summer and that she was not a part of the disciplinary committee that led to the termination of CM Punk’s AEW contract, despite many speculating the opposite to be the case due to her previous involvement in the situation.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Megha Parekh and her AEW future as soon as we hear more.
