AEW Dynamite Hits 7th Anniversary

AEW Dynamite has hit its seventh anniversary.
When All Elite Wrestling was first announced in early 2019, many weren’t sure what to make of the upstart promotion. However, through via its first pay-per-view and free events that followed; it soon secured a TV deal with TNT, and, on October 2, 2019, the very first AEW Dynamite debuted on television, leaving fans with a wide collection of strong matches, segments, and feuds to look back on.
Today, the very first AEW Dynamite turns seven years old.
If you go into the comments of the post above, as well as look elsewhere on social media, you’ll see fans reminisce about the groundbreaking debut, where they were when they saw it, and how it’s affected them long-term. Many noted that if it weren’t for All Elite Wrestling, they would’ve been out of wrestling entirely. While the company has its fair share of detractors, Dynamite has certainly made an impact during its life.
This past Wednesday, the company put on their most recent Dynamite, dedicating it to the life of Benjamin Satterley, known to fans as PAC. The Brit was part of AEW’s original lineup, and therefore had been with the company for each of the episodes that came before his untimely passing.
To continue to honour his life, the company has release PAC merchandise, with the proceeds supporting the Satterley family. You can find our coverage of that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on AEW Dynamite as soon as we hear more.
