Athena is ready for an all-women’s pay-per-view.

Since winning the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship last December, Athena has become arguably the best women’s wrestler in North America. Her reign has been met with acclaim and, in many peoples’ eyes, has been the primary highlight of ROH’s weekly show.

Speaking with Steve Fall of Ten Count Media, Athena was asked about the possibility of an all-women’s pay-per-view with talent from both ROH and All Elite Wrestling, as the promotions are both owned and operated by Tony Khan.

“Absolutely. That’s the cool thing with Tony Khan; anything is a possibility. You never know what’s going on in his crazy head. I know that every time any woman from the AEW locker room, the ROH locker room, we’re going out there to prove a point that we deserve the position we’re put in. The fans are loving it, it’s our heart put on a platter. Of course, that would be the ultimate goal, to do an all-women’s pay-per-view with Ring of Honor and AEW. That is the ultimate goal down the road. I know every locker room across the board; Collision, Dynamite, Rampage, Ring of Honor, that’s something we all want, it’s just a matter of time.”

Athena was also asked about the possibility of unifying the women’s titles across promotions.

“Let’s be honest, if I’m in the mix, whether it be Toni Storm, Kris Statlander, whoever is AEW Champion or TBS Champion, I’m down for that fight and I will take all the belts. I’ll be a belt collector. I’ve never done that. Let me write that on my bucket list. Triple champ.”

Athena and Willow Nightingale made history at last night’s Death Before Dishonor, becoming the first women to ever main event a Ring of Honor pay-per-view and adding their names to the way-too-short list of wrestling pay-per-views main evented by Black women.

Athena retained her championship by submission in a match that’s received high praise from fans. If an all-women’s pay-per-view happens in the future, Athena will likely feature on it in a prominent spot.
