Reports have indicated that two STARDOM wrestlers won’t be leaving this March.

When Rossy Ogawa’s Bushiroad contract was terminated on February 4, the future of World Wonder Ring STARDOM seemed uncertain. It later came out that, not only was Rossy planning on starting his own promotion, but that many of the current roster members of STARDOM had deals expiring in March, making many wonder who the company will still have at their disposal this spring.

Now, per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s been reported that AZM and Mina Shirakawa, who will both be in the USA for Windy City Riot, are set to renew their deals with STARDOM.

“It would seem to indicate AZM and Shirakawa staying with Stardom and we’ve had it confirmed from Stardom that both will be renewing their deals.”

As well as being in Chicago for the NJPW show, Shirakawa and AZM are set to feature for STARDOM as part of their ‘American Dream’ event in Philadelphia. As such, Meltzer notes that it’s possible for them to appear on AEW TV the week of April 4.

AZM and Mina Shirakawa from Stardom will appear here in early April, when they are in for the New Japan show in Chicago. Right now they are scheduled for 4/4 in Philadelphia which would be the ROH Supercard of Honor show at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. It’s possible they could appear on AEW television as well that week

Their re-signings mean that Bushiroad have seemingly locked down two very important talents for the future. AZM, at just 21 years old, is a young star who is already one of the best that the company have, while Mina is a former Wonder of STARDOM Champion who has improved endlessly over the last couple of months and years. Plus, many fans would enjoy seeing them pop up in AEW should it come to be.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on STARDOM contract renewals as soon as we hear more.
