Bandido has recently made some cameo appearances in AEW. On September 28, he battled Chris Jericho in a losing effort over the Ring of Honor Championship, but many fans were impressed with his display.

He’s widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world and he would be a welcome addition to any company in the world. Though, there is confusion over whether or not the star has signed with AEW on a more regular basis. But, as part of the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has given an update on Bandido’s status.

“The only thing I was told regarding Bandido is that he had verbally agreed to terms and everyone was going with the idea he was coming in, but nobody could confirm if he’s put actual pen to paper. But we’ve basically been told he’s considered in.”

-WON.

There is no confirmation that Bandido has officially join the AEW roster, but this is a strong sign. There appeared to be a lot of desire from different companies to sign Bandido but the star may well find himself on AEW TV more often going forward.
