Bayley Reportedly Still Yet To Sign New Deal With WWE

Bayley reportedly hasn’t renewed terms.

For the majority of this year, talk has circulated over Bayley’s future. While the exact date isn’t known, the 34-year-old’s current deal is set to expire before the end of 2026, and speculation is mounting linking the former Women’s Champion with a move to AEW. With many fans keeping a keen eye on the situation, it appears we’re no closer to knowing what’s in store for the star when her contract comes up.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bayley still has a decision to make regarding her future.

“The only thing I’ve heard from them (WWE) when it comes to Bayley is that Bayley has a decision to make. So that’s the story, Bayley has a decision to make. She has not signed a contract. When she signs a contract I’m sure she’ll be back on TV. I think they’re doing the same thing Tony (Khan) does, or has done, he doesn’t always do it. And they don’t always do it. But I think the situation with her is if she signs a contract she’ll probably come back and attack Lyra, and that’ll probably be her storyline. If she doesn’t sign, then she doesn’t come back and the Madison Square Garden thing was a write-off.”

Of course, the rumours were heightened when Lyra Valkyria unleashed a post-match attack on her former tag team partner at July 19’s Saturday Night’s Main Event. Although she’s appeared on live events, Bayley is yet to re-emerge on Monday Night RAW since the attack, and, as noted by Meltzer, it could be that the company are seeing how her contract status develops before deciding on her return.

With her future unclear, Bayley spoke on a recent vlog about how the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event felt different to her previous outings at Madison Square Garden. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Bayley’s WWE future as soon as we hear more.
