The Man and The Visionary will reportedly be taking some time off.

WrestleMania 40 was one of WWE’s most anticipated events ever, and it’s first night began with Rhea Ripley defending the Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch. With many fans split on the outcome, it was ‘The Eradicator’ who came out on top and retained the title. On night two, the show began with Seth Rollins losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre (who later lost to Damian Priest via cash-in), and it’s been suggested that both Lynch and Rollins will be absent from WWE for the coming weeks.

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s reported that Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch will be taking time off from WWE going forward, although, at least in ‘The Visionary’’s case, it’s not expected to be for long.

“Rollins, who lost clean to McIntyre and then got taken out by Reigns without much of a fight in the main event, will be taking time off. We were told it was for not that long. Becky Lynch is also believed to be taking time off.”

While Rollins and Lynch will certainly be missed on Monday nights, WWE have proven that they have enough depth to continue their momentum after WrestleMania 40. With Damian Priest now the World Heavyweight Championship and Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship reign ticking over into its second year, The Judgment Day seem poised to rule RAW for the coming weeks.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch taking time off from WWE as soon as we hear more.
