Bianca Belair reflects on her WWE WrestleMania announcement, injury, and pregnancy decision.

During Night One of WrestleMania 42 on April 18, Bianca Belair made a surprise appearance following host John Cena’s attendance announcement and addressed the crowd at Allegiant Stadium, where she revealed that she is pregnant, prompting an update to the official attendance figure.

Speaking about her pregnancy in a vlog uploaded to her YouTube channel, Bianca Belair opened up on the decision to have a baby during her time away from the ring, explaining that she felt it was the right moment in her life and career to step back and prioritise herself.

“So as everybody knows, at WrestleMania I broke my finger. I broke my knuckle and I have joint damage, and I lost a portion of my joint, which can’t be fixed. I originally thought it was gonna be a pretty straightforward recovery. They said 8 to 12 weeks, but it just started not really healing correctly. It still won’t bend to this day and I can’t get in the ring. It kind of just got to the point where I hit four months and I have always wanted to have a baby. I’m not getting any younger, and honestly, this is what I want to do. And I feel like for so long I was kind of putting what I wanted to do and myself on the back burner. Me and my husband, we had a talk, and I kind of just told him, ‘I’m ready just to do something for me. I’ve sacrificed enough, and I’m ready to have a baby.’”

Bianca Belair has been absent from in-ring action since coming up short to IYO SKY at WrestleMania 41 in a triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship that also involved Rhea Ripley, with the former champion suffering a finger injury that ultimately required surgery.

The April 20 edition of WWE Raw saw The Street Profits make their return to back up Seth Rollins against The Vision, with WWE later uploading footage of Bianca Belair watching husband Montez Ford make his return in Gorilla, where the pair shared a brief moment before he headed to the ring.
