Big E has given an update on his current condition.

While it may be hard to believe, it has now been over two years since Big E sustained a serious neck injury on SmackDown. He suffered fractures of his C1 and C6 vertebrae, having been on the road to recovery since March 2022, and fans have eagerly awaited any kind of news regarding his condition and future in the squared circle.

Offering an update via his X account, Big E has told fans that he’s no closer to being medically cleared, and, unfortunately, he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to ever come back to the ring.

While it will be immensely sad if Big E is unable to come back to the ring, his health is the priority, and fans will be delighted to hear that he is free of pain and finding happiness regardless of his in-ring status. Should the New Day member not be able to make a return, fans will keenly remember his WWE Championship win in September 2021 as a major highlight of his time as an active competitor.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Big E’s recovery as soon as we hear more.
