WWE Reportedly Released Sid Scala Over The Past Week

A prominent NXT UK name has reportedly been released by WWE.

When WWE’s NXT UK brand came to an end in September 2022, some of the show’s roster either moved to the United States to join NXT or the main roster, whilst many were met with their releases.

Former NXT UK Assistant General Manager Sid Scala remained with the company, however PWInsider are now reporting that Scala was released by WWE over the past week.

“WWE released former NXT UK Assistant General Manager Sid Scala over the past week, PWInsider.com has leared.”

Scala last wrestled for the company in 2023 and had been with WWE since the inception of NXT UK in December 2018.

Having not been utilized since the end of his on-air role, where he played the Assistant GM under British wrestling legend Johnny Saint, Scala primarily worked behind the scenes as a coach and producer.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Sid Scala as soon as we hear more.
