The former United States Champion is reportedly in Detroid ahead of the Biggest Party of the Summer.
Bobby Roode has been absent from WWE television since the April 1st, 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, having underwent neck fusion surgery for his C5/6 vertebrae later that year. Whilst updates since have been sparse, we now have an interesting update on his whereabouts that could hint towards a return being on the horizon.
Per PWInsider, Roode has been spotted in Detroit, Michigan, with WWE set to present SummerSlam from the Motor City in just two days’ time.

As of writing, it’s unclear as to the reason behind Roode being present. However, whilst there have yet to be any positive updates on his injury status, fans of the Glorious One will be hopeful that he could make an appearance in some capacity this weekend.
In terms of the SummerSlam card itself, Roman Reigns is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Jey Uso in Tribal Combat, whilst Asuka will put the WWE Women’s Championship on the line against both Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Booby Roode’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
