Bray Wyatt still isn’t ready to return to action just yet.
Former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt has been absent from television since late February, with multiple reports citing an illness as the reason he’s been unable to be cleared to return to action.
Fightful Select have now provided an update on Wyatt’s absence, reporting that he’s still yet to be cleared to return by WWE’s medical team, and thus it’s unclear as to when we can expect to see him back on our screens.
“When Fightful Select inquired about Wyatt’s status, a WWE higher up confirmed to us that Wyatt is still sidelined, and not cleared for action. We’re told that he’s still awaiting clearance and hopeful for a return whenever that occurs.”

Prior to his absence, Wyatt was in the midst of a feud with Bobby Lashley that was seemingly leading towards a singles bout between the pair at WrestleMania 39, however this ultimately never came to fruition.
Wyatt had also been involved with Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy, who has been absent from television since Wyatt was sidelined, as well as Alexa Bliss, who is now expected to miss the remainder of 2023 whilst on maternity leave.
Fightful closed the report by noting that they’re yet to hear of any significant creative plans for Wyatt in recent times due to unpredictable nature of his current situation, however as always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates his status and future creative plans as soon as we hear more.
