Bron Breakker & Roxanne Perez Reportedly WWE’s Original Picks To Win Money In The Bank

WWE’s initial Money in the Bank winners have been revealed.
This past Saturday night, WWE headed to New Orleans for Money in the Bank 2026. As it happened, Tiffany Stratton and Penta were the ones who climbed the ladder to secure their respective briefcases and earn a future world championship opportunity. However, coming in, many felt as if Roxanne Perez and Bron Breakker were the favourites to win their matches. Now, it seems as if this was almost the outcome we got on October 10.
According to a new report from False Finish, it’s believed WWE’s original plan would’ve seen Perez and Breakker win Money in the Bank.
“Roxanne Perez and Bron Breakker were originally scheduled to win their respective MITB matches before WWE ultimately decided on Tiffany Stratton and Penta.”

In the case of Roxanne, many fans were disappointed “The Prodigy” didn’t unhook the briefcase after Liv Morgan regained the Women’s World Championship, leaving many feeling the company had left storyline potential on the table. On last night’s RAW, however, Perez picked up major momentum by pinning WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green just weeks before she takes on Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel.
For Breakker, some viewers wondered if he could add an extra layer to his feud with Oba Femi by using the briefcase to beat his rival to a world championship. Speaking of “The Ruler” it seems he’s still in line to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 43 despite the recent teases that it could be brought forward. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the original Money in the Bank plans as soon as we hear more.
