Charlotte Flair Believes Kiana James Can Be A Main Event Player In WWE

Charlotte Flair is a big fan of rising WWE Superstar Kiana James.
Since joining WWE’s main roster after being called up from WWE NXT in 2015, Charlotte Flair has been one of the company’s most dominant stars, and after seeing countless NXT standouts make the transition to the main roster and attempt to reshape the women’s division, it appears one name on WWE SmackDown has particularly caught her attention.
Appearing on First Take on ESPN, Charlotte Flair had nothing but praise for Friday Night SmackDown’s Kiana James, claiming she has the potential to become a main event player in WWE.
“I met her at the PC when I was out with my knee injury and she had a knee injury as well. She was only on the roster for about a month before she got injured, and she’s been back now for almost a year. I think she has the potential to be a main event player. She’s aggressive, she’s athletic, she’s powerful. She makes me want to step my game up and she’s very young, and she’s soaking up every moment that she can. So look out for Kiana James. She’s gonna be a big player.”

Since making her WWE SmackDown debut in July of last year, Kiana James has served as the representative and tag team partner of the now former WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia.
After dethroning Giulia during the April 24 edition of WWE SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton is set to defend the WWE Women’s United States Championship against Kiana James on this week’s episode of SmackDown, in a move likely to further the growing tension between James and Giulia.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair currently finds herself at odds with Fatal Influence and is set to team with Alexa Bliss and Rhea Ripley to face the newest additions to the WWE SmackDown roster this Friday.
