TKO Reportedly Asking Multiple WWE Talent To Restructure Their Deals Due To Endeavor’s Debt

TKO are reportedly looking to maximise revenue due to debts linked to Endeavor’s past.
This past weekend saw the stunning departure of The New Day from WWE, with it later revealed by Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline that Kingston and Woods chose to after TKO had tried to restructure their contracts. Since then, reports have suggested this is becoming commonplace within the company, and we now know more on why TKO are keen to renegotiate terms with many of their talent.
According to an update from Bodyslam, it’s believed the reason behind TKO asking multiple talent to restructure their deals is to boost revenue to help debts from Endeavor’s past.
“TKO is asking multiple talent to restructure their contracts as a result of what they view as talent rate of production vs what they are being paid. Another source indicated that TKO is looking to maximize revenue as the company is still currently in debt due to Endeavor’s past.”

The recent news around the company wanting to cut costs through restructuring contracts comes just a couple of weeks after they begin the latest round of releases. On April 24, Kairi Sane, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, and the Motor City Machine Guns were all among those let go from WWE, while JC Mateo and Tonga Loa were added to the list of departures on May 2.
While we don’t yet know who else has been asked to take a pay cut in WWE, news recently broke of a ‘majorly pushed talent’ who had reportedly taken a 50% salary cut of late. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on TKO asking talent to take pay cuts as soon as we hear more.
