CM Punk and Ace Steel will have considerable input towards the creative of AEW: Collision.
On the May 31 edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan officially announced CM Punk’s return to the company for the debut edition of Collision on June 17. This followed weeks of rumours surrounding the future of the Chicago-born star, including doubt over whether the return would come to fruition due to the status of Ace Steel.
With the return now set to go ahead, Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer has revealed more about the role that both Punk and Steel will have when it comes to Collision, stating that the pair are set to have a heavy involvement on the creative side of AEW’s new Saturday show.
“The belief is Punk and Ace Steel will be heavily involved in the creative of the show. At least they will be for Punk’s stuff and the main angles and storyline on the show will revolve around him and obviously he’ll have great input into that.”
