Yet another name could be set to join AEW’s growing women’s division imminently.

Megan Bayne has reportedly been under AEW contract for years at this point. However, previous injury issues had prevented her from establishing herself on TV. Seeking further bookings, Bayne made the move to STARDOM in July of last year, where she won the Goddess of Stardom Tag League alongside Maika. Bayne departed the promotion in January, and whilst many have been patiently awaiting her AEW return, that has yet to materialise.

That could be about to change, however, as Fightful Select are now reporting that creative pitches have been made regarding Megan Bayne’s re-debut for AEW, with early indications suggesting she’ll be working as a heel.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that creative pitches have been made for Bayne for a possible re-debut in All Elite Wrestling. Early indications were that she would be in a heel role.”

Since returning to the United States, Bayne has worked several independent dates for the likes of GCW, Limitless, and more.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Megan Bayne as soon as we hear more.
