Alongside new recruit Jimmy Jacobs, it’s been reported that Dax Harwood also has creative influence in AEW.

It’s no secret that members of the AEW roster can make pitches regarding the company’s creative direction. Recently, it was revealed that Bryan Danielson involved in Creative him and Tony Khan often bounce ideas off of each other. With Collision debuting this Saturday, the company now has around 5 hours of TV time to produce each week.

Fightful reported that Jimmy Jacobs was backstage at Dynamite last night, with the 39-year-old working in a creative capacity. Now, PWInsider are reporting that Jacobs will also act as a coach and producer. Interestingly, the report also mentions that Dax Harwood has been having creative input in recent time.

“Jimmy Jacobs officially started today as an AEW Coach/Producer at tonight’s Washington, DC taping. Jacobs was part of a move to add additional staff to the company as they prep for this Saturday’s AEW Collision premiere in Chicago. I would expect Jacobs will also be working on the creative process. Bryan Danielson and Dax Harwood have been involved with creative pitches to Tony Khan of late”

The extent to which both Harwood and Danielson can influence AEW’s direction is unknown, however we know that the recent ‘Championship Friday’ edition of Rampage was a joint idea between Bryan and Khan.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any updates on the internal creative process of AEW as we hear more.
