Dominik Mysterio Thinks WWE Doesn’t Know What To Do With Him
Dominik Mysterio believes WWE has lightning in a bottle with him, but doesn’t know how to utilise it.
Since turning on his father and aligning with The Judgment Day in late 2022, Dominik Mysterio has consistently drawn some of the most passionate reactions from the WWE Universe and has found success as a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and the current AAA Mega Champion, although he feels WWE should be doing more to capitalise on his star power.
When asked about his absence from the upcoming Clash in Italy card on May 31 in an interview with Esse Magazine, Dominik Mysterio claimed that WWE do not know what to do with him.
“I don’t think they know what to do with me. I’m too cool. They have lightning in a bottle and they have no idea what to do with it, so they’re just letting it sit. I’m just waiting. I could have all the storylines, but like I said, they don’t know what to do with me. I’m too good. I’m lightning in a bottle. They’re holding me. I don’t know [what WWE is waiting for]. Like I said, I’ve beaten John Cena. I’ve beaten AJ Styles. Beaten Rey Mysterio. Beaten Damian Priest. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. I’m 29 years old. Kid’s young. You’ve got all these old fossils in there working. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. At the end of the day, I’m a patient man. I can wait. I’ve got The Judgment Day with me. AAA Mega Campeón. I’m not tripping. If they want to put me on Clash In Italy, I’ll put my Mega Campeonato on the line. It don’t even matter.”

Dominik Mysterio has competed just twice since the beginning of April, the first of which was a loss to his former The Judgment Day stablemate Finn Bálor during Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 on April 19.
‘Dirty Dom’ would then put the AAA Mega Championship on the line against ‘The Original’ El Grande Americano on the May 11 edition of WWE Raw. While Mysterio managed to retain the title, his next championship defence has yet to be announced.
