Kevin Knight praises Will Ospreay as one of AEW’s very best.

AEW Dynasty on April 6, 2025, saw Kevin Knight make his All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view debut in the quarter-final of that year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament against Will Ospreay. While he failed to pick up the victory, ‘The Jet’ delivered an impressive performance that immediately set him on a path toward superstardom in the promotion.

Speaking to Sir Wilkins of The Jobber Tear’s Show, Kevin Knight reflected on making his All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view debut against Will Ospreay, praising ‘The Aerial Assassin’ as someone whose style many wrestlers are trying to emulate.

“[Will] Ospreay is this generation’s whatever you want to call it because everybody’s trying to pull from him. Everybody’s trying to do his type of style, but Ospreay is like one of one. Nobody’s touching him, in my opinion. Just on his style, his intensity, his precision.”

Will Ospreay defeated Samoa Joe in the opening round of this year’s Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at AEW Double or Nothing on May 24, and many believe this will be the year he makes his way to AEW All In at Wembley Stadium with a chance to capture the AEW World Championship.

Later that night, following MJF recapturing the AEW World Championship from Darby Allin in the main event, Kevin Knight shockingly attacked Allin as he lay prone on a stretcher, with ‘The Jet’ set to address his actions on the May 27 edition of AEW Dynamite.

While AEW fans anticipate Kevin Knight’s next move, Shelton Benjamin recently claimed that ‘The Jet’ would be a great addition to The Hurt Syndicate. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Kevin Knight following his recent heel turn as soon as we hear more.
