The controversy surrounding Karl Anderson’s schedule continues.

Many eyebrows were raised when Gallows and Anderson made their return to WWE on the October 10 edition of Raw. This was mainly because Karl Anderson came back to the red brand while still holding NJPW’s NEVER Openweight Championship.

Not only that, both WWE and New Japan had booked Anderson to work on November 5. The star was scheduled to compete in Japan on that date but WWE have made a match for him at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Karl doubled down on his WWE commitments by announcing that he wouldn’t be in Japan for Battle Autumn but didn’t back down when NJPW threatened to vacate the title.

We don’t know when Anderson will next compete for New Japan, but it seems as if many hungry challengers will be waiting for him on his return. It’s a tough situation for all but fans will be intrigued to see how it all plays out.
