Kendal Grey was glad to see Sol Ruca in good spirits after a scary fall on WWE NXT.

Week Two of NXT Revenge on Tuesday, April 21, saw Zaria defeat Sol Ruca in a Last Woman Standing match in the show’s main event. With the pair battling above two tables positioned below them, Zaria sent her former tag team partner crashing through the first table, as Ruca struck her head on the edge of the second before landing on the floor.

Appearing on The Mark Hoke Show, Kendal Grey recalled the reaction from the NXT locker room to the moment and noted that Sol Ruca was positive and in good spirits after the match.

“Back there, we were all watching, like, speechless. We were just mouth wide open speechless. We didn’t know how to react in that moment. She comes back, she has a towel on her head, and she’s like, ‘Heck yeah!’ She’s smiling. She’s awesome, but definitely a scary moment for all of us. Just concern for her. Obviously, that could be really, really bad. It was bad, but it could always be worse. So knowing that she came back with a positive mind and smiling and stuff was a good reassuring moment, because all of us definitely were scared.”

One night before Sol Ruca and Zaria went to war in NXT, Ruca made her official Monday Night RAW debut as she took on Liv Morgan in singles action, though interference from Zaria resulted in the Women’s World Champion picking up the victory.

Following the conclusion of NXT Revenge, Sol Ruca took to Instagram to thank the NXT fans for their support during her time on the brand, with the former NXT Women’s North American Champion joining fellow NXT alumni Ethan Page and Joe Hendry in making the move to Monday Night RAW.
