A positive Kenny Omega Injury update. Kenny Omega seems to be making progress on his road to recovery from a list of injuries.

Kenny Omega has been out of action since late last year. We last saw him compete at AEW’s Full Gear PPV where he dropped the AEW World Championship to the current champion, Hangman Adam Page.

When Kenny Omega decided to take some time off to nurse his injuries, it seemed like his list of injuries was very long, causing fans to worry that he may be out for a long while. We are approaching six months without Omega being in action.

The now positive Kenny Omega Injury update comes from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting that Omega has now had his hernia surgery and is recovering from said surgery:

Fans have speculated about Kenny Omega potentially making it back in time for AEW’s collaboration with NJPW, the Forbidden Door PPV. However there has been no update as of yet if this will be a possibility.

We at WrestlePurists would like to wish Kenny Omega continued progress on his road back from injury and we look forward to seeing him back in action.
