Kit Wilson looks ahead to what Pretty Deadly could be like should Elton Prince return.

On May 2, 2025, Elton Prince unfortunately suffered a serious neck injury while Pretty Deadly were wrestling Fraxiom on SmackDown. In his absence, Kit Wilson has entered the singles division, gaining a lot of traction in early 2026 due to new character and catchy entrance theme. With the Brit having gained momentum while competing alone, Wilson has now discussed whether Pretty Deadly would be different should Prince be able to return to the ring in future.

Speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Wilson said his singles run could elevate Pretty Deadly, saying the group would be in a position to evolve.

“For sure it’s [his singles run] a way to elevate [Pretty Deadly]. The only issue is with Elton and the unfortunate injury, there’s a big question mark there. We’ve got a long road of recovery, and it’s still a bit of a question mark on whether he will return to the ring. It’s a serious injury, so I hope he does. I want him to come back and if he does, hopefully I’ve raised the profile enough to be a bigger and better Pretty Deadly. The fun side of that is I think it will be a different Pretty Deadly. I don’t think we fully know what that will be and I think it’ll be a more mature Pretty Deadly. Starting off in NXT UK, I think I was 24. I think Elton was 22. I’m now 30. Elton is, I think any day now, turning 29. So I think Pretty Deadly, by the time they come back and by the time they reform, we’re just gonna be more mature. I think we’re gonna be just a different animal. I don’t even fully know what that is. I think we’ll very much stand for a lot of similar things, but it’s gonna be an evolution, for sure. We were Charmander before, now we’ll become Charizard.”

Elton thankfully underwent successful 2-level neck fusion on January 8, and is now on the road to recovery. However, as Kit mentions, it’s currently unclear as to whether Prince will be able to return to the ring due to the severity of his injury. Of course, we continue to wish him well for the future.

In terms of Kit Wilson’s singles career, many fans expected his momentum in January to propel him towards a spot in this year’s Royal Rumble match, though that unfortunately didn’t come to be. Recently, Kit sat down with Cody Rhodes and reflected on what it was like to miss out on the event. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Pretty Deadly as soon as we hear more.
