Matt Jackson is not expected to be out of action for too long, hopefully meaning he will not miss any AEW PPVs.

Matt Jackson recently suffered a partially torn biceps injury, which has lead to him not being on TV as of late. He and Nick Jackson were both wrote off TV when they were attacked and left the show in an ambulance. However the hope is they can get back as soon as possible as they are a centric part to the Elite vs Blackpool Combat Club storyline on AEW TV.

Matt Jackson recently on BTE described his injury and also noted he will be out for a matter of weeks rather than months as he is opting not to get surgery after talking to Doctors and other people who had previously had the same injury.

In the latest update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he states that Matt Jackson has started treatment, has his arm currently in a brace and is looking at 6-8 weeks out:

Matt Jackson had bone marrow shots, PRP and shockwave treatment on his arm. He did go to St. Louis even though he wasn’t on the air because both Young Bucks have storyline injuries. His arm is in a brace so he can’t use it. He was given six to eight weeks before he could return but that is depending upon how the arm responds to treatment.

The hope is that he is back in time for the new AEW PPV, Double or Nothing.
