Following The Usos’ win over Matt Riddle and Kevin Owens on the December 5 episode of Raw, Solo Sikoa took it upon himself to brutalise The King of Bros. During the attack, paid tribute to Umaga by hitting a Samoan Spike on Riddle who had to be stretchered out.
Many fans were surprised at just how far Solo went in his attack of Riddle after Matt was taken away in an ambulance. Though, Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net has revealed that the reason behind Riddle being written off TV is related to a violation of a drug test.
“I was able to confirm that the reason that WWE wrote Riddle of TV is because he has failed another drug test and will be sent to rehab. The belief going around is that he has already entered treatment, or will be going in soon as most programs run for 30 days and he would need to be finished in time for his return in six weeks.”

His first offence reportedly came in August in the build to SummerSlam. Riddle was locked into a feud with Seth Rollins when the match between the two had to be pushed back to September’s Clash at the Castle. Fans will hope that Riddle will be all clear to return in six weeks once his rehab has concluded.
