A reported update on Mercedes Mone’s future suggests that filming has started for her AEW debut.

Speculation on the future of Mercedes Mone has been rampant in recent weeks. While a portion of viewers hope that the former Sasha Banks will make a return to WWE, the majority of reports seem to indicate that she is likely to sign with Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling.

To provide the latest on this, a new PWInsider Elite post has maintained that Mercedes is AEW-bound, and even stated that she had began filming content to be used around her debut for the company this week.

“The expectation from many is that Mercedes Mone is AEW-bound. One source believes that Mone is signed and was filming content for AEW earlier this week for usage in relation to her debut for the company, but that was not independently confirmed.

As of yet, Mone hasn’t revealed her next step, although it’s possible that AEW Owner Tony Khan’s announcement on next week’s Dynamite is pertaining to upcoming signings, whether it be Mercedes or former NJPW icon Kazuchika Okada.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Mercedes Mone and her possible AEW arrival as we hear more.
