This past Monday saw WWE put on a ‘Raw is XXX’ thirty year celebration of their flagship show. The episode featured a lot of nostalgia acts mixing it up with the stars of today including The Undertaker sharing the ring with LA Knight and DX coming face to face with Imperium.

It’s no surprise to learn that WWE were interested in bringing a lot more people as part of their Raw 30th anniversary show. Though, not many would’ve expected wrestlers from MLW to be part of the equation. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported that MLW have sent a cease and desist letter to WWE amid concerns that they were contacting MLW talent directly about appearing on the show.

“MLW sources have said that they have sent a cease and desist letter to WWE after the promotion attempted to contact some of its contracted talent to appear on the Raw 30th anniversary show.”

“MLW sources have said Court Bauer told the talent to have WWE reach out to them directly, and didn’t say he wouldn’t allow them to appear, just to go through him.”

“ WWE didn’t respond to questions regarding the cease and desist or the claim”

– Dave Meltzer

As of now, we don’t know which specific wrestlers were allegedly contacted by WWE, who are yet to respond to the claims. We will update you on the cease and desist if any more news comes out.
