Omos is reportedly planned for a big match at WrestleMania 38.

According to Fightful Select, as of this weekend, Omos is slated to face former WWE champion Bobby Lashley on the grandest stage of them all.

Lashley was written off television at Elimination Chamber PPV during the mens Elimination Chamber match, as WWE ran an injury angle with Seth Rollins throwing Austin Theory into Lashley’s pod with a Buckle Bomb. This resulted in Lashley being removed from the match. Brock Lesnar then won the match to become the new WWE champion.

Omos, meanwhile, split with AJ Styles in January and entered the Royal Rumble match for the first time in his career. His next big program/feud could surprisingly in fact be leading to a WrestleMania match with Lashley.

Omos vs Lashley would be a true clash of two huge heavyweights, but still a match-up some fans may raise their eyebrows at. Plans can always change so I guess we will all have to wait and see what happens as the Fightful Select report also mentions how Lashley being cleared is still yet to be confirmed to them
