WWE and TNA are reportedly not forming a partnership, but the door isn’t closed.

For years, it seemed as if WWE was closed off from the wider wrestling world. However, with then Impact Knockouts Champion Mickie James appearing in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble and TNA talent Jordynne Grace following suit in 2024, it appears as if the company are now open to the idea of working with other companies, with some even wondering if WWE and TNA could be on the verge of forming a partnership.

However, per PWInsider Elite, it’s said that there is nothing concrete on this front, although the two sides have been in communication about potential future ideas even after the departure of Scott D’Amore from TNA.

For those who have asked about the WWE-TNA relationship, PWInsiderElite.com is told that even after the depature of Scott D’Amore, the two sides have continued to communicate about potential future ideas, but nothing concrete has happened yet. The door is not closed. There are some TNA execs in Philly this weekend, but no word if they are in town specifically related to the WWE relationship.”

While a partnership remains unlikely, the report noting that TNA executives are in Philadelphia ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40 suggests that, if there’s more to the idea of a working relationship between the two companies, we won’t have to wait too long to see it in action. Though, we’ll have to wait and see whether the situation develops.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on a potential partnership between WWE and TNA as soon as we hear more.
