Seth Rollins says Will Ospreay is one of the best wrestlers around.

Despite never crossing paths in their respective careers, Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay have always been associated with one another due to their presence online. In 2019, the two memorably traded shots on social media, arguing over who was the better performer, and, prior to The Aerial Assassin choosing to sign with AEW this past November, The Visionary fed into the possibility of Ospreay joining WWE by telling him that the ‘water is warm’ on their side.

Addressing Ospreay while speaking with The Ringer, Rollins was more than happy to call him one of the best in the world, and stated how happy he was that Will is getting the opportunity to reach the top of the wrestling world.

“[He] is absolutely one of the best performers in the world, and I’m happy that he is finally, you know, getting to the very top level in our industry,”

On why he felt he may have had to stand his ground in the past, Rollins noted that WWE is his home and that he feels as if they are the best at what they do.

“Well, not everybody has taken this stance over the years, but to me, WWE is my home, right? These people that I go to battle with every week on these live events and these TVs—and I’m not talking just the talent; I’m talking about the whole team, the production, the creative—love it or hate it, we’re the best. I’ve been a proponent of these people in my family and had their back for years because I believe that, and I believe in the work we all put together to make this industry the best it possibly can be,”

April is set to be a busy month for both men, as Rollins has two matches set for this weekend’s WrestleMania 40 spectacle and Ospreay is scheduled to tick off a dream match with Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty on the 21st. Given that they are firmly embedded in their respective promotions, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever see the two clash in the ring off the back of their various interactions on social media.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay as soon as we hear more.
