Rhea Ripley is reportedly injured and may have to relinquish her title.

Last week on RAW, Rhea Ripley was involved in a backstage brawl with Liv Morgan, initiated when the 29-year-old threw a chair at the current Women’s World Champion. The pair then engaged in a brief exchange, which saw Morgan take the fight to Ripley, including slamming her against the wall, and it doesn’t seem as if ‘The Eradicator’ escaped the segment unscathed.

Per PWInsider, it’s believed that Rhea sustained an injury in the brawl and that it may even be serious enough for her to have to vacate her championship as soon as tonight’s episode of RAW.

“PWInsider.com has heard that the issue is severe enough that the talk internally is that Ripley may be forced to vacate her championship, possibly as soon as tonight’s episode of Raw.”

Of course, this is very much a developing situation, so it remains to be seen whether Rhea will have to give up her title, though we may not have to wait long for the answer. It goes without saying that we wish Ripley the best and hope that any potential injury isn’t too severe.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Rhea Ripley’s injury status and the future of the Women’s World Championship as soon as we hear more.
