Social media megastar and part-time WWE Superstar Logan Paul recently welcomed the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns onto his ImPaulsive podcast, leading to Paul stating his desire to eventually get into the ring with the Tribal Chief. WWE’s Head of Creative Triple H then extended the offer for Paul to appear on tonight’s Smackdown, and if a new report is to be believed, The Maverick may be getting his wish sooner rather than later.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has now revealed that the planned main event for the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia will see Roman Reigns defending his championships against Logan Paul, with a press conference set to be held in Las Vegas this Saturday.

“WWE is holding a press conference in Las Vegas this Saturday to announce the main event for its November 5 Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia. Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul is planned to headline the PPV.”

-Dave Meltzer

Shortly after Meltzer tweeted that major news was on the way, Paul tweeted that he had a big announcement for tonight’s Smackdown, and thus we may recieve official confirmation of the match in just a few hours.

Paul made his WWE debut earlier this year at Wrestlemania 38, teaming with The Miz to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio, although The Miz would ultimately turn on the YouTuber after the match. This led to the pair facing off against eachother at SummerSlam, with Paul emerging victorious after a performance that had the WWE on their feet. Paul is undoubtably one of the most naturally talented celebrity wrestlers WWE have ever welcomed into the ring, and we are certainly looking forward to seeing how he fares against the company’s biggest star today.
