Seth Rollins has some choice words for CM Punk.

Before WWE’s 2024 Royal Rumble concluded, it seemed rather obvious that the direction for Wrestlemania was for Seth Rollins and CM Punk to go one-on-one at WWE’s biggest show of the year with Seth’s World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Unfortunately, that was not meant to be as late in the Royal Rumble match CM Punk unfortunately tore his triceps, which would all but guarantee he’ll be missing this year’s Wrestlemania.

Despite Punk being sidelined with the nasty injury, that hasn’t stopped the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, from throwing a few choice barbs at the Second City Saint.

Rollins spoke recently with Wrestle Radio Australia where he would reiterate the sentiment felt by himself and his former Shield teammate and now AEW veteran, Jon Moxley.

“I mean, I don’t want to say I told you so. But me and a lot of other people told you so. What’s the line? Fragile mind. Fragile body. Fragile ego. I think somebody that I know said something like that about him and it rings true . So look here’s the deal and I told him this in the ring, if you want to find your way to me and the World Heavyweight Championship you’re gonna have to work for it, the deal is he’s gonna have to work a little harder now.”

Drew McIntyre would ultimately earn the right to challenge Seth Rollins with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line at Wrestlemania after Drew endured and outlasted five other competitors in the Elimination Chamber live from Perth, Australia.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the injury status of CM Punk as soon as we hear more, and we wish him all the best in his recovery.
