STARDOM’s annual Dream Queendom show happened in front of over 3000 fans in the Sumo Hall. The show featured eight matches including four title matches, with AphroditE defeating Natsuko Tora & Momo Watanabe in a great match to retain the Tag Team Titles, Giulia retaining her STRONG Women’s Championship against Megan Bayne. After the match, Trish Adora challenged the former World Of Stardom Champion to a match at the next NJPW Strong show. In the semi-main event, Saori Anou defeated MIRAI to win the Wonder Of Stardom Championship in a 25-minute-long epic, with both giving everything they could.
In the main event, Suzu Suzuki & Maika squared off with the vacant World Of Stardom Championship on the line, after Tam Nakano vacated it in November. The two had a rivalry that has been building up over the past 8 months and is now concluding. The match started violent, with both brawling in the ring and outside of it, including a table being used, but it didn’t take long until both ended up back in the ring. The ending minutes of this match were tremendous and emotional. Maika hit Himeka’s Running Powerbomb and three Michinoku Driver II’s for the three count, and to win the World Of Stardom Championship. She defeated her rival in the biggest match of both careers and finally achieved her goal of being a World Champion.
