Unfortunately, still no good idea when Kenny Omega will be back on our screens in the ring.

Kenny Omega has been out looking after injuries since he dropped the AEW World Championship to Hangman Adam Page at AEW’s Full Gear PPV late last year.

Kenny Omega had just been on an incredible run, winning the AEW, Impact & AAA World titles, defending all belts. But it seems the incredible run has come at a cost, with Omega now dealing with multiple injuries.

Recently at the last AEW PPV, Revolution, Don Callis did a fake-out when Kenny Omega’s music hit and Callis came out instead to cut a promo. This tease led fans to talk about and wonder when Omega could possibly be coming back.

Dave Meltzer has given an update in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Kenny Omega is currently recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery. The recovery from this will take about ten weeks. He will be getting surgery to repair his sports hernia at the end of March and that’s about a two month recovery. There are other things he’s also taking care of. There is no time frame set for his return

– WON

We do hope Kenny Omega is back sooner rather than later because he is one of the worlds finest wrestlers. But more importantly we hope that he makes a full, safe recovery and is back whenever he feels ready and healthy.
