Former ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes have made a number of headlines in recent weeks regarding their contract status.
Many believed The Briscoes to next on the list of free agent signings heading to AEW, although reports began to circulate that WarnerMedia were against the signing of the duo, and thus any plans regarding The Briscoes in AEW never came to fruition.
Mark & Jay Briscoe are set for IMPACT’s upcoming TV tapings, scheduled for Sunday, 24th of April. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter have now provided an update on their status with IMPACT.

As noted by the Observer, The Briscoes’ seemingly long-term commitment to IMPACT lends credence to the reports of AEW cooling their interest on the duo, and so fans are unlikely to see ‘Dem Boyz’ appear on Dynamite or Rampage any time soon.
