Since All Elite Wrestling President and CEO Tony Khan purchased Ring of Honor in early March; many have wondered where the current ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham would end up. Now Fightful Select is following up on a story they reported last week in which it was believed that the plan was to bring Gresham into the AEW/ROH fold. It seems those plans haven’t changed.
Various sources contacted through Fightful have indicated that there is a plan in place to have the ROH Champion sign with AEW/ROH. Where he will work AEW dates as well as the upcoming Supercard of Honor in Garland, Texas. Fightful’s sources within Impact wrestling also claim that Gresham has not signed a contract with them and expected him to make his AEW debut soon. Giving these reports a bit more weight.
