The Young Bucks Discuss Encouraging Kenny Omega Before AEW All In: London Main Event

The Elite were there for each other in more ways than one at AEW All In.

AEW All In: London saw Will Ospreay defeat Kenny Omega to capture the AEW World Championship in the show’s main event, with The Young Bucks at ringside supporting the now-former champion. Earlier today, The Young Bucks released the first of a two-part Being The Elite special documenting their time at Wembley and preparations for All In: London.

They also talked with Justin Barrasso about their decision to come to Kenny Omega’s aid ahead of his main event against Will Ospreay, revealing that they had also invited Brandon Cutler to join them.

“We encouraged Kenny and told him he’s the best stadium wrestler in the world and that this entire house came to see him and Will. We pumped him up pretty good. At the very last second, he asked Brandon to also second him to the ring, and Brandon was very flattered. He’d asked us a couple days prior and we were touched. We’ve been ringside for all of his greatest matches, and this was on the same level. Watching Kenny and Will was watching two wrestling psychopath geniuses who’ve perfected their craft from the best seat in the house.”

The Elite coming together for the main event was a particularly fitting moment, especially with Will Ospreay also having the United Empire in his corner. The commentary team also noted the presence of the seconds as a tribute to both wrestlers’ time in Japan.

If nothing else, their presence added further gravitas to the match, particularly as neither side attempted to interfere or influence the outcome. Instead, they were there solely to support their respective friends and stablemates, with the match subsequently receiving widespread praise.

Whilst The Elite’s presence at ringside was far from a surprise at AEW All In: London, Callum Newman being in Will Ospreay’s corner certainly raised a few eyebrows. You can read more about Ospreay’s thoughts on the matter here.
