Tommaso Ciampa Thanks Fans On 6-Month AEW Anniversary

Tommaso Ciampa has been in AEW for 6 months, and he’s grateful for the experience so far.

Ever since Tommaso Ciampa showed up to accept Mark Briscoe’s TNT Championship challenge, “The Psycho Killer” has been a key part of All Elite Wrestling. He’s had memorable matches and feuds with multiple stars, including his most recent rivalry with Jericho which concluded in a stunning no holds barred match at Redemption, and the sky is the limit for what he does next. First, though, the 41-year-old has taken a moment to reflect on his time with the company.

On his Instagram page, Ciampa thanked the AEW fanbase for making this a memorable start to his run.

“A little over 6 months ago I sat with my family and we decided to take a risk…Change is often scary. Embrace it. Since then, we have taken family/work trips to Texas, LA, New York, Boston, and Montreal… next up is Scotland and London. Believe in yourself. Trust your gut. Do the work. And through it all, move forward with integrity and authenticity. Thanks for believing.”

His AEW arrival immediately stood in contrast to what fans of WWE had been seeing from him during the tail end of his most recent run with the company. There, he was part of #DIY on SmackDown, but the pair were often missing from TV, and the inconsistent nature of his appearances made fans wonder whether Ciampa still had it when he crossed over to Dynamite and Collision. Most recently, Ciampa wrestled in Arena Mexico for the first time. At AEW’s Grand Slam: Mexico, he faced both Andrade and Komander to earn the number one spot in the Casino Gauntlet at Wembley Stadium later this month.
