Toni Storm reportedly isn’t wrestling soon, though she may be factored in in other ways.

Back in March, Toni Storm was seen laid out backstage during Dynamite, with reports at the time indicated she was believed to be out through the rest of 2026. Then, at AEW WrestleDream, certain people revealed that cassette tapes were distributed by the staff that teased Toni Storm’s return, leaving many confused as to her status. Now, an update has emerged on whether fans can expect her back in the ring anytime soon.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, it’s believed Storm isn’t imminently returning to the ring, though she could be involved in other ways.

“Those spoken to in AEW say that Toni’s in-ring return isn’t imminent, but there could be other elements involving her that get worked in.”

Through the recent cassettes, AEW could continue to advance the story around who took out Storm around seven months ago without “The Timeless One” being around herself. At the time, the scene was full of clues leading to a myriad of different culprits, including Mercedes Moné, Mina Shirakawa, Hikaru Shida, and many more. For now, though, the identity of the attacker remains a mystery.

Regardless of their nature, the recent teases have certainly made fans sit up and take notice after months of radio silence with regard to Toni Storm. As such, many will be keeping an eye out for more hints on upcoming shows, including Full Gear on November 14.

Speaking of AEW’s next pay-per-view, Will Ospreay’s next title defence has been confirmed. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Toni Storm’s AEW status as soon as we hear more.
