Toni Storm is primed and ready to unify the AEW Women’s Championships.
Earlier this year at All Out, Toni Storm would emerge victorious from a four way match over Jamie Hayter and two former AEW Women’s Champions in Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker in a bout set to determine the new interim Women’s World Champion due to Thunder Rosa’s inability to defend the belt due to injury.
Ever since obtaining championship gold, Toni Storm has been a very steady presence in AEW’s programming, she defended the title on numerous occasions against the likes of; Penelope Ford, Serena Deeb, and in a four way match with Britt Baker, Athena, and Serena Deeb at AEW’s Grand Slam special.
Toni Storm recently spoke with Bleacher Report and detailed her plans to beat Rosa and to finally rid herself of the Interim AEW Women’s World Championship in the process.
“I guess my first thing would be to beat Thunder Rosa and stop this interim nonsense. That’s kind of what’s been bothering me. I think that’s been bothering a lot of people because she’s still calling herself the AEW women’s world champion and I’m the one here every week doing the work.”

Regardless of her ongoing status within AEW, her attention remains fixed on staying on top of the mountain withing All Elite Wrestling.
“Right now. I guess it’s about being a good champion, being a strong champion. That’s what I’m up against every day. I’m working harder than I ever had in my entire career. The time is now. I look at every week as just an opportunity to prove myself. I love giving it my all and who knows where we go from here? But all I know is I’m gonna continue to work hard.”
