Triple H speaks very highly of today’s WWE.

Since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque assumed all of WWE’s creative responsibilities in 2022, fan support for the company has had a resurgence. The changes that The Game implemented provided an overall improvement in the viewing experience and anticipation for the weekly shows and Premium Live Events has led to a highly successful period for the company.

Speaking during his appearance in a Sneaker Shopping video with Complex, Triple H compared WWE’s current period of success to that of the Attitude Era, saying that everything they are currently doing is clicking in a similar way to how it did back then and that this is reflected in the amount of mainstream stars that want to be involved.

As we roll into this, the business is probably – I can look at it different now like where I just said a minute ago we didn’t know it was the Attitude Era at the time. Having lived through that, I can look at it right now and say we’re in another era like that. People won’t put a tag on it. Like, we didn’t call it the Attitude Era in the Attitude Era. They’ll put a tag on it later or whatever it is. But if we can maintain, we’re in that same white-hot level of, you know, everything sold out. Everything we’re doing is just clicking. And you see it – Travis Scott wanting to come in, you see it [with] Bad Bunny wrestling with us, you see it [with] The Rock coming back. Rock’s got a busy schedule. If wrestling’s on the down, he ain’t coming in. So you see that, you see that excitement. WrestleMania 40 will be massive and we’re going to do everything we can to make it the biggest WrestleMania in history.”

-Triple H

With the Showcase of the Immortals now less than one week away, Triple H will be hoping that WWE’s current momentum persists through WrestleMania 40. Excitement for the show is high with Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns headlining the event, and many fans will be hoping to see The American Nightmare finally crowned the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion next weekend.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Triple H and WrestleMania 40 as soon as we hear more.
