With AEW’s next major PPV All Out just days away, one match that has fans rather excited for the event is the Casino Ladder match, featuring Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix, Rush, Andrade el Idolo, Dante Martin, and a mystery “Joker” entrant, with a future AEW World Championship opportunity up for grabs.

Following a recent tweet made by AEW President Tony Khan stating that his roster would soon be at “100%”, many fans are anticipating the return of MJF this Sunday, with some believing that the former Pinnacle is likely to be revealed as the Joker. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now provided an update on a potential MJF return, reiterating that he’s expecting to come back to AEW soon, although he’s unsure as to whether he’ll be there this weekend.

“I’m sure it could be whatever. Im sure a lot of people think MJF (will be the Joker Entrant), and MJF is coming back, and the winner gets a title shot. So, you know. The winner is presumably facing Punk unless Moxley wins. I mean MJF certainly makes as much sense as anyone but I don’t know if they want to pull the trigger this early. But maybe they do because Tony did say that after this show they will be at 100% and they will be the strongest unit, as far as talent, that they have ever ha, 100%. He wouldn’t say what 100% means, but to me 100% means MJF, and I already knew MJF was coming back soon. So, I don’t know if its gonna be this week but he’s definitely in the running if you’re gonna put odds on something, he’d probably be the most likely guy.”

MJF has been absent from AEW TV altogether since his appearance on the June 1st edition of Dynamite earlier this year, where he cut a worked shoot promo addressing the reports of contract disputes between himself and Tony Khan, with MJF at one point labelling his employer a “f*cking mark” in a moment that was censored by TBS.

Thr AEW return of MJF is certainly something many fans are hoping to see this Sunday, and as always we’ll aim to provide any updates on the situation as soon as we hear more.
