This past Tuesday’s edition of NXT saw many crossovers from the main roster. Both Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley were called in to be part of the ‘pick your poison’ stipulation in the feud between Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. On top of that we saw Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson join Cameron Grimes against The Schism as well as Austin Theory teasing to cash-in on the NXT Champion.

In the only unannounced return of the night Tony D’Angelo brought in Shinsuke Nakamura to go up against Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo. The King of Strong Style, who was one of NXT’s most successful stars during his time on the brand, picked up the win over Stacks. It’s fair to assume that this was a one-off but PWInsider is reporting that Nakamura may not be done in NXT.

“Shinsuke Nakamura will be making additional appearances in WWE NXT, PWInsider.com is told.”

-PWInsider.

Shinsuke is a former two-time NXT Champion but hadn’t wrestled on WWE since August before making his NXT return this past week. It’s unclear what the Japanese star will be doing on WWE’s third brand going forward but if his last run is anything to go by fans will be excited to see what he does.
