Will Ospreay Calls Out WWE: Don’t Step To Us Ever Again
Will Ospreay has directly addressed WWE’s attempts to counterprogram AEW All Out.
One of the biggest topics in the wrestling community yesterday was the battle going on between WWE and AEW in Chicago. With WWE holding Worlds Collide in the same city and at the same time as AEW All Out, those local to the area were able to choose between America’s two top promotions on the same night. Now, one of All Elite Wrestling’s biggest names has given his thoughts on going up against a WWE-produced AAA show.
In the All Out Media Scrum, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay spoke candidly about his confidence in the promotion rising to the challenge of counterprogramming.
“I cannot tell you the pride that I feel because people did have a choice. And everyone that came to this show tonight chose the right company because we deliver the best pay-per-views, the best professional wrestling. Any time anyone wants to come and step up to us, here’s the reality for you. We’re gonna knock you down two f*cking levels. We are the best pro wrestling in the entire f*king world. Do not f*cking step to us ever again.”

While AEW All Out was largely an emhoyable show with strong action throughout the night, Ospreay likely felt increased pressure as the world champion heading into a main-event match on a show that’s directly competing with WWE for fans. To that end, after the match, Ospreay thanked the crowd for selling out the NOW Arena and choosing AEW.
