Willow Nightingale’s Hand Injury Reportedly Legitimate Heading Into AEW All In: London

Willow Nightingale reportedly has a legitimate hand injury.

On last night’s AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Moné attacked Willow Nightingale backstage, preventing her from addressing the live audience in Glasgow. During the beatdown, “The CEO” focused on the champion’s hand, creating a weak point ahead of their title match at Wembley Stadium. However, it now appears the targeted attack is based on real damage.

According to an update from Bryan Alvarez on F4WOnline, it’s believed Nightingale’s hand injury is legitimate.

“Willow’s hand injury is said to be legitimate but she is expected to be able to work the show this weekend.”

Nightingale’s scheduled title defence against Mercedes Moné this Sunday is one of the most anticipated matches on the card, with the challenger looking to finally win the one championship she hasn’t been able to hands her hands on since joining All Elite Wrestling. Those attending Wembley will be pleased to hear that the injury won’t prevent Willow from competing, although, depending on the extent of the damage, it may alter many viewers’ predictions for the show. For now, though, the severity of her hand injury is unknown.
