WWE/AAA Worlds Collide Reportedly Set To Air Live On YouTube
YouTube could potentially be the landing spot for WWE and AAA’s upcoming Worlds Collide event.
WWE has an upcoming event this Saturday that has caused some confusion among fans. The latest edition of Worlds Collide is scheduled to take place on September 26 in Chicago, marking another occasion where the promotion will go head-to-head with AEW. However, recent reports indicated that the event was not initially expected to be televised or streamed live.
That situation may now be changing. According to Andrew Baydala, sources are reportedly expecting Worlds Collide to air live on YouTube, although WWE has yet to officially confirm the change.
“A quick update on Worlds Collide- those I spoke with yesterday and today are under the impression the show will air LIVE on YouTube. Obviously things can change but, that is the current direction and distribution of that show on Saturday.”

Should the report prove accurate, WWE would not be breaking entirely new ground by livestreaming the event on YouTube. The promotion has previously used the platform to stream several AAA events, including the show that aired ahead of NXT Heatwave last month. In addition, AAA head Rey Mysterio announced the full card for the show yesterday:
Reaction to the card and the event as a whole has been mixed, with some fans expressing disappointment with the lineup following an earlier tease. Some have described the event as a “glorified house show,” while the initial decision not to air it live also led to questions about how WWE was positioning the show.
The event’s Chicago location has also prompted discussion about whether Worlds Collide is intended to serve as counter-programming to AEW All Out, which is taking place in the same city.
However, the two events have taken very different paths in terms of ticket sales. Worlds Collide still has a sizeable number of tickets available, while AEW All Out has sold out ahead of its Chicago show. All Out is set to be headlined by Will Ospreay defending his newly won AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley.
