It seems FTR’s recent great run has caught the attention of their former employers.
FTR are the current AAA & ROH Tag Team champions and are currently on one of the great tag team runs that has seen them have classics very recently with the Briscoes & The Young Bucks as two stand out matches from this recent run.
FTR right now is probably the tag team most mentioned in best tag team in the world conversations, so it comes at no surprise that WWE are reportedly interested in trying to lure them away from AEW.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select first reported WWE’s interest in FTR earlier today.
When posting to Fightful Select, Sapp also reported that FTR’s contracts are technically up in the Summer of this year, but AEW have the option to extend for an extra a year. An option most would assume they’d take advantage of.
“Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler’s deals are technically available to expire this Summer, but that All Elite Wrestling retains an option year on the duo. We’re told that word should be coming on that being exercised or a contract extension coming soon.”

UPDATE: Fightful have now reported that AEW has informed them that as of now, FTR have over a year remaining on their current deals.
